Sea Buckthorn - Eva

A female cultivar that produces berries with the highest tested levels of polyphenols. Similar to Sunny, but with fewer thorns.

The berries can be used for jams, preserves, fresh eating, and juices. The berries are considered a superfood as they contain Vitamins A, C, E, and K, as well as Omega-7, Potassium, Calcium, Phosphorous, Zinc, Magnesium, Niacin, Boron and B vitamins. Portions of the plant are also used medicinally in Europe and Asia for various ailments. The plants have the added benefit of tolerating and improving poor soils as they fix Nitrogen. They will do better in soil that has good drainage.
