Red Bounty is superior to the traditional ‘Boyne’ variety for yield and cold hardiness (zone 2!). Highly productive canes produce tasty raspberries averaging 2 cm (3/4") in diameter that easily detach when picked. Rated first place for the highest yield in growing trials in Alberta. Berries can be used for fresh eating, desserts, or preserves. Second year canes should be pruned while dormant after they bear fruit. Trellis canes for support.
Bare root items are only available until May 11.
