Ussurian Pear is the hardiest species of pear. It has a beautiful spring display of white flowers after pink buds, and turns a beautiful burgundy colour in the fall. It produces small yellow pears that are better tasting after a frost and are suitable for canning or juicing. These trees are often crossed with other pear trees to produce more frost tolerant varieties. Resistant to fire blight. Tolerates alkaline soil and salt.
Note: Bare root (BR) stock is only available until May 11. Viability is not guaranteed for bare root stock that is not picked up promptly.
