Ginger is a very useful medicinal and culinary herb. It needs heat so it is most often grown indoors here, but could be placed in a warm greenhouse. Harvest the leaves or wait until the fall and harvest the fresh roots. These plants are grown from certified organic roots without synthetic fertilizers or herbicides.
