Hedge Cotoneaster

Hedge Cotoneaster are native to Siberia and are a good cold hardy hedging alternative. It responds well to shearing and its dark green leaves turn brilliant yellows, oranges and reds in the fall. Small clusters of pinkish-white flowers appear in the spring and turn into red berries. These berries are NOT edible for humans, but provide a food source for birds in the fall.
