Cherry - Sweet Thing

One of the newer (2021) releases of cherries from the University of Saskatchewan collection. Sweet thing produces burgundy-coloured berries that are sweeter, larger (5-6 g) and firmer than the others in the romance series. Excellent for fresh eating, preserves, or juice. 

Note: This cherry tree is rated as zone 4, but it may survive in sheltered locations that have good snow coverage during the winter. Mine has survived here for 3 winters including a few consecutive days of -48.
