Cherry - Crimson Passion

One of the popular tart cherry varieties from the University of Saskatchewan. The large, dark red berries (1 cm, 6 g) has the sweetest flavour. Brix rating of 22. The pits are reported to be large enough to use a commercial pitter. Excellent for fresh eating or baking, cooking and preserves. The shrub is smaller than the others in the romance series.
